6 cups Chex cereal (3 cups rice and 3 cups cinnamon)
2 cups dried fruit (cranberries, cherries)
2 cups nuts (cashews, honey roasted peanuts)
2 cups pretzels
2 cups Teddy Grahams or graham crackers (broken into pieces)
½ cup melted unsalted butter
½ cup real maple syrup
¼ cup light brown sugar
2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
1 tablespoon vanilla
Salt to taste
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Mix dry ingredients together and set aside. Melt the butter for 1 minute. Add syrup, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla and salt to the melted butter and stir. Pour this over dry ingredients and mix… Bake for 15 minutes. Stir and bake for another 10 minutes. Stir and bake for another additional 10 minutes. Take out of the oven just before it browns. Pour onto a flat surface to cool… Enjoy ! (Optional- decrease the brown sugar)
